Be Part of History

Nashville's first Super Bowl is a once-in-a-generation moment, and volunteers are the backbone of making it extraordinary. The Big Game Nashville Volunteer Program connects passionate Nashvillians and visitors with opportunities to contribute to the city's biggest event. This is a volunteer (non-paid) program and does NOT constitute employment, an independent contractor relationship, or any form of compensated engagement.

Volunteer Roles

Welcome Team

Greet visitors at key entry points (airport, hotel corridors, transit hubs). Provide directions, recommendations, and Nashville hospitality. Staff information kiosks throughout downtown. Shifts: 4-8 hours, flexible scheduling.

Event Support

Assist with event setup and teardown. Manage registration/check-in tables. Support crowd management and wayfinding. Distribute materials and merchandise. Shifts: 6-10 hours, event-dependent scheduling.

Community Outreach

Participate in pre-event community beautification projects. Assist local nonprofits with game-week related service activities. Support sustainability initiatives (recycling, waste reduction). Shifts: 4-6 hours, weekend availability preferred.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of service. Must complete volunteer application and orientation. Must agree to and sign liability waiver and release of claims. Must pass basic background screening. Physical ability to perform assigned tasks (standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs for some roles). Must commit to minimum 2 shifts (12+ hours total) during game week. Must attend 1 orientation session (2 hours, scheduled in advance).

Volunteer Benefits

Complimentary Big Game Nashville volunteer merchandise package (shirt, hat, credential lanyard). Access to volunteer-exclusive events and gatherings. Networking with industry professionals, business leaders, and media. Certificate of service/volunteer hours documentation (for school, professional, or community service requirements). Priority consideration for future paid positions with Big Game Nashville. Meals/snacks provided during shifts exceeding 6 hours.

Important Legal Notice

NOT Employment: Volunteer participation does not create an employment relationship, independent contractor relationship, or any other compensated arrangement with Nashville Big Game Business Ecosystem, LLC. No wages, salary, stipend, or other financial compensation is provided.

Liability Waiver: All volunteers must sign a liability waiver and release of claims prior to participation. By volunteering, you assume the risks associated with event participation including but not limited to: physical injury, exposure to weather conditions, exposure to crowds, property damage, and loss of personal belongings.

Workers Compensation: Volunteers are NOT covered by workers compensation insurance. Volunteers are encouraged to maintain their own health insurance and personal liability coverage.

Non-Discrimination: The volunteer program is open to all eligible individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age (18+), disability, genetic information, or veteran status. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
