Big Game Nashville Brand Ambassadors are the face of our platform — energetic, knowledgeable, and passionate about Nashville. You will engage with visitors at key locations throughout the city, distribute informational materials, promote partner businesses, and create positive first impressions of Nashville hospitality. This is an independent contractor (1099) role with flexible scheduling during the pre-game and game week periods.
Greet visitors at high-traffic locations (Broadway, The Gulch, SoBro, Nissan Stadium area). Provide Nashville recommendations — restaurants, entertainment, transportation, and events. Distribute official Big Game Nashville guides and partner promotional materials. Answer questions about the city, events, and logistics. Create a welcoming atmosphere that represents Nashville's legendary Southern hospitality.
Staff branded booths and pop-up installations at partner locations. Facilitate interactive experiences and giveaways. Collect visitor contact information through digital sign-up tablets (with consent). Distribute branded merchandise and welcome kits. Represent Big Game Nashville and partner brands with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Track daily engagement metrics (interactions, materials distributed, sign-ups collected). Report crowd conditions and visitor feedback to management. Document notable interactions and suggestions for improvement. Maintain inventory of promotional materials and supplies.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal communication skills. Knowledge of Nashville neighborhoods, restaurants, and attractions (or willingness to learn quickly during training). Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hour shifts outdoors in February weather. Reliable transportation to assigned locations throughout Nashville. Smartphone with data plan for real-time communication and digital tools. Professional appearance consistent with brand guidelines. Must pass background check.
All brand ambassadors receive comprehensive training including: Nashville city knowledge (neighborhoods, key venues, restaurants, transportation). Brand standards and messaging guidelines. Engagement techniques and conversational scripts. Digital tools and reporting procedures. Safety and emergency protocols. De-escalation and conflict resolution. Training is compensated at the base rate of Contact for pricing. Training duration: 2 full days (16 hours total).
Branded outerwear (jacket, vest, or hoodie) provided at no cost — must be returned at end of engagement. Professional casual attire beneath branded layers (dark jeans or slacks, closed-toe shoes). Name badge must be visible at all times. No competitor brand logos visible while on duty. Weather-appropriate layers are your responsibility.
Base rate: Contact for pricing depending on experience, event type, and shift timing. Evening/weekend premium: +Contact for pricing for peak shifts. Performance bonuses: Contact for pricing based on sign-up targets and engagement quality. Payment: Bi-weekly via direct deposit or check. No guaranteed hours or minimum weekly compensation. Shift availability varies based on event schedules and business needs. Typical engagement: 15-40 hours/week during active periods.
Contractor Classification: Brand Ambassador roles are independent contractor (1099) positions, not employment. You control your schedule within available shift offerings. No taxes are withheld; you are responsible for self-employment tax obligations.
No Guaranteed Income: Assignment volume and hours are not guaranteed. Income depends on shift availability, event schedules, and your chosen schedule. Past earnings do not predict future income.
